C/CAG
The City and County Association of Governments is a unique and award winning organization with a Board that includes one elected official from each city in San Mateo County. C/CAG work on issues that affect the quality of life in general; transportation, air quality, stormwater runoff, climate action and energy, abatement of San Mateo County hazardous waste, solid waste and recycling, land use near airports, and abandoned vehicle abatement. C/CAG has contracted with RecycleWorks to manage the Energy Watch program.
PG&E
Pacific Gas and Electric Company, incorporated in California in 1905, is one of the largest combination natural gas and electric utilities in the United States. As a provider of electricity and natural gas to approximately 40 percent of Californians and 1 in 20 Americans, PG&E recognizes that the way they produce and deliver products and serve customers has a direct impact on the environment. PG&E is taking a lead in various parts of its business, including delivering some of the nation's cleanest electric power, advocating for regulation of greenhouse gases through partnerships, investing in renewables, and supporting customers through successful energy-efficiency programs like Energy Watch.
RecycleWorks
RecycleWorks is a program of San Mateo County within the Public Works Department. RecycleWorks creates, delivers, and promotes recycling, composting, waste prevention, procurement, sustainability and green building programs and outreach at County facilities and for residents, employees, businesses and visitors in the unincorporated area of the county. RecycleWorks manages the Energy Watch program.
Ecology Action
Ecology Action is a non-profit organization that partners with local and state agencies, cities, counties, and utilities to provide innovative environmental services that improve quality of life and contribute to a sustainable economy. Ecology Action does outreach for the public agency/non-profit portion of the Energy Watch program, and performs energy audits, develops project proposals for customers, contracts with the installers, and handles quality-control inspections.
El Concilio of San Mateo County
El Concilio is a non-profit organization that does outreach for the residential portion of the Energy Watch program, and performs energy audits, develops project proposals for customers, contracts with the installers, and handles quality-control inspections. In addition to the Energy Watch program, El Concilio coordinates Telecommunications Education and Lifeline enrollment, Emergency Provisions for East Palo Alto and Menlo Park, Youth and Young Adults After School and Employment Programs, Promoter/Multi-cultural Education and Employment project, and Diabetes, Metabolic Syndrome and Cardio clinic.
